THis strange, Northwest persian carpet is known as a "Viss", and hails from a city of the same name. Viss's have a mix of northwest persian motifs and caucasian motifs. This one features a triple medallion. It is in fair condition, a restoration would do it some good. The carpet measures 12ft. 10in.* 8ft. 9in.
