This antique Ersari has a number of rare elements, that are uncommon in Ersari rugs.  It has an all over paneled step diamond motif, with typical turkomen border designs running diagonally behind each panel.  It has a small , repairable hold in the center, and some wear ot the pile.  This is a fantastic rug. The photo is marked 1910, But it could be 20 years older.
